The Suzuki's do extremely well after re-mapping. And also respond very well to the right pipe etc. Take a look at the GSXR1000 graphs to see what we mean. Forget the whole "Yosh is for Suzuki" idea, it's rubbish. Unless you buy the Japanese Yosh systems you are buying nothing even close to what race teams use and certainly nothing that will come anywhere near many other exhaust systems on your Suzuki. If you're gonna fork out your hard earned $'s for a pipe, would you rather spend it on a pipe "name" to give you 5h.p? Or a pipe that leaves it for dead in both performance and quality that gives you 10h.p?

As with all bikes, not only do the GSXR's gain power, but makes power quicker, and more predictably, as well as adding mileage for fuel consumption, smoother throttle response etc. They all leave with the same smile on their dial once their bike has been transformed with the PC and Tuning Link.

If you want a slip on for your Gixxer, have a look at the Muffler comparison on the GSXR1000 page. It'll change your mind on what pipe you want for your GSXR. Micron was used for the example for the 04 models back, but since then have seen more gains again with Sato and Arata.

If you want your GSXR to be a balls to the wall rocket ship for the road, or produce max power for the track, then Sato systems are one to go for. The quality will amaze you, and the power your bike will make will have you tying your hands to the bars so you don't get left behind.
